BILL HOLT (Early 1970’s. Album released in 1973)

Quitting his day job for 3M Company in Philadelphia as a sales and marketing Junior exec wearing a three piece suit, to spend the next two years in his Claymont Delaware basement creating electronic Soundscapes embodying the dystopian undercurrent and Cold War anxieties of the era. Inspired by Avant garde composer John Cage and the Beatles Sgt. Peppers, along with social commentary, to record the album DREAMIES auralgraphic entertainment. Created with a Four-track reel to reel recorder, Acoustic Guitar and (Brand new at the time) Moog Sonic Six synthesizer. David Fricke wrote in Rolling Stone “endless hours of mental entertainment”. For fans of White Noise, United States Of America, Silver Apples, early Pink Floyd etc…
