Clevinger (1995-present)

Clevinger was an emo band that originated in Newark, DE. Active from the mid-1990s, Clevinger contributed significantly to the Delaware independent music scene, sharing members with and having connections to other regional bands such as Bessemer Process, Boysetsfire, Brill, and Dorian Gray. Their style is characterized as emo, and they are noted for their raw sound, with early releases including a 4-song cassette around 1995, which was seen as a precursor to the band Eldritch Anisette. Clevinger continued to release music into the late 2010s, solidifying their place in the regional scene's history.
