  CLIFFORD BROWN (1949-1956)

  

  Jazz Trumpet player, Died Tragically in a car accident after a show on tour in 1956. Played and recorded often with drummer Max Roach. The City of Wilmington puts on an annual festival ever year in Rodney Square honoring his Legacy.
