ELDRITCH ANISETTE (1996-1997)
Out of the Ashes of Clevinger (Tim and Courtney) joined by Allen Hitchens on Guitar and Marc Krupanski on Bass. Emerged out of the local Enoch Collective scene. Their only release is a self-titled 7", recorded during winter of 96/97. Beforehand, they also made a 6-track demo tape, 3 songs off of which ended up on the 7". Shortly after the release of the 7" (a few months at most), the band disbanded. In January 2024, Numero picked them up, and rereleased all of their material.
- They did at least a dozen shows in their lifetime. According to Courtney, at their peak, they were doing one show a week. Their earliest dated show is at "Girls Inc." on the 27th April, 1996.*Jeromy to link to this*

The name of the band comes from Courtney, and Allen (guitarist). Courtney at the time was heavily interested in the French language, and liked the word anisette (type of liquor). Allen afterwards suggested eldritch, which Courtney in an interview said "creates a kind of mystery, and means 'strange, unearthly'".
